Tolle Anmeldezahlen!

Mit heutigem Tag (10. März) sind für die 6. Ultraradmarathonweltmeisterschaft bereits 35 Teilnehmer gemeldet.

25 Einzelstarter, 2 Vierer-Teams und ein 2-er Team lassen eine Rekordteilnehmerzahl erwarten.

Rennleitung und Organisationsteam freuen sich auf ein spannendes Rennen.

Magic 13

The date is fixed.

From 3rd- 5th June the 13. GLOCKERMAN together with the 6. Ultramaraton-Bicycle- Word-Championship will be carried out.

The Glocknerman is as magic as the Number 13.

The competitors of the last world championship know what we are writing about. To master this route is a battle against oneself, rain, wind, snow, heat,etc.....but the aim to be one of  the greatest

heroes on the bicycle motivates the competitors to accept  these hardships.

The organisers have already started advertising this event in order to put through this unique adventure "GLOCKNERMAN" to as many enthusiastic marathon cyclist as possible.

We are looking foward to a large number of starters and many teams.

Together with our supervisors we will live and experience the "GLOCKNERMAN".........

The Glocknermann 2009 is over . At the prize giving with 150 Competitors at SFZ the date for 2010  3rd-5thJune 2010. was confirmed.

Despite all prohecies the Glockenerman ist the oldest and for sure the most difficult Ultra-Bicycle Marthon Competition in Europe. We would like to invite all endurance athletes to paticipate in this world championship worthy competition.

On the classic route a sensational new record of 33:25 hours  was set up by Johann Eisenbraun.

Overwelming cheers as the first competitors pass through Winklern for the first time........the strain can be seen on many faces, but it will be even harder.....

The outward team Johanna and Elisabeth are working on the final preparations in Winklern. They move into a room in Hotel "Tauernstein", They never used the beds!......But the new comers in the organisation team did not know this at the time.....

At 12.00 the competitors start  their big adventure. The challenge to accomplish this marathon is in their hearts, their faces are content, not anticipating what is to come.

Many of them are competing for the first time. They are on their way for the next days with their best friend the bicycle.

Glockermann 2009 has startet

Under the cheers of the people of Graz the introduction of the "Gladiators" and the start on the Hauptplatz in Graz was carried out.

Great atmosphere und first communication between competitors and organisers...... many of them don't yet know what is expecting them.....

At the briefing the last organisational details are discussed and then it is  time for bed. This word will be non existent for competitors and the organisation team during the next few days

Glocknerman 2010and 6. Ultra Bicycle Marathon

From 3rd-5th June 2010 the 13. Glockernermann and the 6. Ultra-Bicycle World Chamionship will be carried out as a combined competition.

We are looking foward to many competitors in the individual and team competitions.

2010 there will also be a world championship competition for team riders as follows:

Upto 50 years: Ultra route for teams of 2 and 4

Over 50 years: Classic route for teams of 2 and 4

In the team competition ladies teams, mens teams as well as mixed teams can participate.

Apart from this we would like to invite ambitious marathon riders to compete as a mega team (max12 riders) in the classic competition out of competition.
