Rules and Regulations

Only bike riders not holding a license and over 18 years of age have the right to compete.

All World Championship competitors must permanently wear a safety helmet on which the start number has to be visibly affixed.

The competitor can only be registered if the application form has been filled in and thus the conditions for entry have been accepted. As soon as the entry fee has been paid the competitor will be put on the entry list.

Riding in a slip stream behind cars or other traffic offences will be punished with time penalties. In case of reocurrence the competitor will be disqualified.

Due to the selective road profile, there is no objection to riding in the slip stream of another competitor.

At night all bicycles need functioning lights. The route is roughly marked with signposts. At the briefing a road book will be handed out to the competitors.

The organisation is not liable for any occurrences e.g. accidents before, after and during the event.

The competitor must make sure that he has liability insurance with a company authorised in Austria. The World Championship route is not closed to traffic, therefore the road traffic regulations must be strictly followed!

In order to be placed in the competition the time limit of 56 hours must not be exceeded.
