Participant limit: The camp is limited to 15 cyclists. Free places are awarded according to the "first come first serve" principle.

New in 2018:

The stages were shortened and the distances evenly distributed. The camp focuses on one of the most beautiful racing bike regions in Austria as well as on some key points of the Glocknerman.

Day 1 - 108 km and 2,300 hm - Thursday 10 May 2018:arrival until 10 o'clock to the Bierhotel Loncium *** (address: Mauthen 60, 9640 Kötschach-Mauthen) . 10:30 am departure from Bierhotel Loncium *** on the first stage. With the Sella Valcalda and the Plöckenpass, the first tour with a detour to Italy offers two real highlights. In the late afternoon, admission to the Waldbad or brewery tour, which is a two-minute walk away, is included.

Day 2 - 106 km and 2,200 hm - Friday, May 11, 2018: After breakfast we start in two performance groups, Group 2 (8:30 clock) and Group 1 (9:00 clock) on the original route of the Glocknerman. Immediately after the end of Kötschach Mauthen, the fascinating Lesachtal valley begins, where narrow and quiet roads lead to the Kartischer Sattel. At the pass we wait together and then drive together to Lienz and continue over the Iselberg to Winklern.

Day 3 - 117 km and 2,800 hm - Saturday 12 May 2018: The third day leads us high up on the Grossglockner. Divided into two performance groups (shared departure) we drive on the Glocknerman route on the Edelweißspitze. While group 2 is cycling back to the hotel after the magnificent view on the Glockner, the group 1 still takes the Kaiser Franz Josef height before it goes back.

Description Stage 3 [Group 2] Pension Pichlerhof – Winklern – Hochtor 2.504 m – Edelweißspitze 2.571 m – Winklern – Pension Pichlerhof.




Day 4 - 120 km and 1,400 hm - Sunday 13 May 2018: On the last stage we drive part of the return section of the Glocknerman. From Winklern direction Villach we drive along the Mölltal and turn just before Spital in the Upper Drautal. At Greifenburg we return to the Glocknerman route and drive over the Gailbergsattel to Hermagor. Then follow a flat section to the hotel, where we have parked our cars and after coffee and cake (not included in the price) start the journey home.

The training camp takes place only with reasonably good weather conditions. If the weather conditions are expected three days before full-time rains, the camp is canceled and the participants back to a contribution of 50 euros the money back.


Should a participant, for whatever reason, forfeit his place, the following cancellation conditions apply to goodwill:

Until 1.4.2018 = complete retuning

Until 1.5.2018 = return of 70% of the amount

After 7.5.2018 = return of 30% of the amount (in case the camp takes place)
